Cool news for the Ruby community…. Matz, creator of the language has joined Heroku (wonder if that’s what they did with their big payday?). Potentially very cool stuff, congrats to Matz and the ruby community (and especially Heroku).

I have no idea if this is going to be the last 2.x series release of Ruby on Rails, but Ruby on Rails 2.3.6 is out the door!  A few minor features added and six months of bug fixes say the release notes.  You will probably want to hit the official release page for all the gory details.
